EHESS allows customers who have signed up for the service two ways to pay for the service:
- pay monthly for any transactions from the previous calendar month
- pay a deposit in advance

Pay monthly option
Please note the following:
- invoices are not itemised so they should be viewed in conjunction with the transaction history, which you can view when logging in here: https://accountlogin.cla.co.uk/login
- If you don't have a login and need one, please contact us via support.education@cla.co.uk
- You can also sign into your account via the EHESS website
- your username is the same as your email address or the generic email address that was used to set up your login for this service. You can reset your password by clicking on the ‘Forgotten password’ link anytime. If you have any questions on this, please get in touch.
- the transaction history is based on the transactions from the previous calendar month and is updated monthly. If you need information about recently placed orders, please contact the British Library
- invoices are issued monthly, based on the transaction data CLA receive from the British Library and include a total of charges for all transactions from the previous month.
- we can add one PO number per monthly invoice.
Advance Payment option
Please note the following:
- the minimum deposit amount for each top-up payment is £150.00 + VAT
- there is no time-limit on your deposit
- you can top up any time by emailing our Customer Services Team on cs@cla.co.uk or education.customers@cla.co.uk
- you can view your latest transaction history and your remaining deposit balance (as per the transaction data load from the previous calendar month) by logging in here: https://accountlogin.cla.co.uk/login
- You can also sign into your account via the EHESS website
